I went to my 36 week check up today. The news I got did not come as a surprise. The baby is breech and has been for over two months now. I knew the possibility for a c-section was good but as of today it is a definite yes. She is sitting so low that there is no way the doctor can flip her. So at 39 weeks Ill be having a c-section. We didn't make an appointment since the doctor my midwife works with was out of the office but we will be making one next week. At first I was terrified and upset but over the past couple of months I have realized the most important thing is that she has a safe delivery. If that means a c-section than so be it. I guess Ill be getting my October baby after all!

ReplyDeleteHer nursery is beautiful! I love the colors. At least you don't have to go through labor and have a c-Section. It will nice to have it planned and scheduled. I am so excited to see and meet your beautiful baby!!

ReplyDeleteSo Janet, I see an S on the wall, does this mean you've made a decision about her name? The room looks so cute and I like simple. Yeah for October babies - we have a couple of those! You're right, what really matters is that she gets here safe and sound - so excited for you!
